About Dr. Wayland Hunter

Dr. Hunter was born and raised in rural Minnesota. Upon completion of undergrad studies in chemistry and piano performance, Dr. Hunter attended dental school at the University of Minnesota. During dental school, he married his wife, Breeta, who was attending medical school at the time. In 2021, they both moved to Anchorage for Breeta’s residency years. Dr. Hunter has practiced all over the state, from Nome, to Wasilla, to Petersburg. He has completed continuing education in oral surgery, endodontics, and dental implants. He has a passion for learning and continues to find ways to better serve his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Hunter enjoys back country skiing, trail running, and mountain biking.
