Dr. Philip Latteier
Dr. Philip J. Latteier is excited to be the new owner of Alaska Dental Group and to lead our Anchorage dental group. Dr. Latteier grew up in Orange County California. He attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree, then completed his DDS at the University of Southern California. After graduation he kept with the family tradition of military service and served in the US Army Dental Core.
Upon leaving active duty he moved to Grand Junction, Colorado where he built his private practice. After 10 years in Colorado, and having grown the dental group to four partners in multiple locations, Dr. Latteier had the opportunity to come to Alaska Dental Group and a new adventure!
Dr. Mark McLean
Dr. Mark McLean is a prosthodontist who bring expertise to our Anchorage dental team with a specialty in providing quality dental care to adults. His specialty includes crowns, bridges and implants. He began his dental career in 1983 after graduating from Southern Illinois University Dental School in Alton, Illinois and then went on to residency training in prosthodontics at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He and his wife, Christie, raised their three boys in Eagle River, Alaska and love spending time playing with their three grandchildren.
Judi has been with Alaska Dental Group since 1982. She started as a dental assistant and moved to Office Manager in 1989. Judi will welcome you, help with your treatment plan, answer any question you may have and assist you with your check out.
Judi enjoys spending time with her two daughters, three granddaughters, and most recently a wonderful new great grandson. She also enjoys hiking, going to the movies and vacationing in warm, sunny stops.
Kirstie joined Alaska Dental Group in 2015 as our patient care coordinator and assistant manager to Judi. We can all agree insurance plans are hard to understand, so she spends her time coordinating with your insurance company to get the very most out of your dental plan, and to make sure you know exactly what your insurance plans on covering before care is rendered.
She does her best to make sure you don’t end up with any surprise bills due to non-covered services. In her personal life she enjoys spending time with her 4 dogs and she will gladly talk about to anyone who will listen. Her partner and her purchased their first home in 2016 and are proud to call Alaska home.
Liisia received her Bachelor of Dental Hygiene at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She has been active in her professional organizations since she began working in Dental Hygiene. She serves as a board member at the State association level, has served as an Alaskan delegate at several American Dental Hygienistsâ Assoc. annual conventions, and most recently, President of the local AlaskaDHA component.
Liisia strives to make effective strides towards growth within her profession while remaining current and relevant in her clinical knowledge to best care for her patients.
Prior to becoming a registered dental hygienist, Marfa was a dental assistant in Homer Alaska for four years. Having found a career passion here, she moved to Anchorage in pursuit of a degree in Dental Hygiene from University of Alaska Anchorage. She graduated with Honors in May of 2009. Marfa has been with our Anchorage dental team since 2015. She enjoys helping her patients improve their oral health and believes that a healthy, beautiful smile leads to a greater level of confidence.
When Marfa is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Marc and their son Maksim. Frequent trips to Homer to visit family are a must!
Seniolynn ‘Lynn’ Wenio
Seniolynn, ‘Lynn’, was a dental assistant in Hawaii for 8 years before moving her family to Alaska and joining Alaska Dental group in 2018. She loves her job, and getting to know patients. Being a dental assistant and being a part of making people feel better gives her great pride.
In her free time Lynn enjoys spending time with her kids, watching T.V. and going to church every Sunday.
Myra has been a dental assistant for 4 years. She received her dental training from an in-house training program offered by another office, then she joined our Anchorage dental team at Alaska Dental Group in 2017. Myra has a great ability to make her patients laugh during their visit and always strives to make her patients feel comfortable while in the chair.
In her personal time Myra enjoys spending time with her family. When summer hit she enjoys barbeques, family soccer games, camping, fishing and all the other amazing outdoor activities that Alaska has to offer.
